ABOUT RUSS
Russ Mohr is a soulful songwriter, arranger, producer, and performer rooted in St. Louis, MO, whose music bridges the spiritual and the everyday life. With over a decade of experience touring the U.S. as the frontman for LP Outsiders and Fundamental Elements, Mohr has established himself as a compelling independent solo artist with a rich, collaborative vision.
In 2019, he released his debut solo album, The Kingdom Sessions, a sweeping 14-song project addressing themes of faith, justice, reconciliation, and unity. It featured contributions from more than 70 musicians across 10 U.S. cities, and set the tone for a genre-bending body of work that’s unapologetically founded on collaboration and reaching across boundaries.
His recent singles—“You Don’t Waste a Thing," a poignant reflection on doubt, hope, and divine trust; “Don’t You Ever Forget," a warm, intergenerational message about identity and legacy; and “Say So," an uplifting reminder to speak blessing into others’ lives—highlight Mohr’s range and intent.
In early 2025, Mohr released The Kingdom Sessions, Vol. 2, a 15-track follow-up that further expands his collaborative universe while continuing to explore themes of faith and community. His music blends Gospel, Soul, R&B, and soulful textures that resonate with a wide range of listeners—his goal is to “bring people together,” serving up music and story as conduits for healing, unity, and honest discourse.
Whether through heartfelt live shows, engaging and thoughtful media content, or deeply reflective songwriting, Russ creates musical spaces that welcome listeners into conversations that matter—about faith, justice, belonging, and the messy, beautiful journey of life.
